Privacy Policy

rei wakamatsu (the "Operator") establishes this Privacy Policy (the "Policy") regarding the handling of user information in the application "MUSMON" and related services (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

The Service may collect and store the following:

• Data stored on the device: workout records, game data such as raising/collection, and app settings (most of which are stored only on the user's device)
• Anonymous account ID: an identifier used to recognize the Service without login
• Public community profile: nickname, main character, last workout date, collection progress, friend relationships, etc. (if community features are used)
• Cloud backup data: the above data if you create a backup
• Subscription status: your paid-plan status (payment details themselves are processed by Apple/Google; the Operator does not retain card numbers, etc.)
• Advertising information: limited information used to deliver non-personalized ads, for frequency capping and quality improvement (device identifier, in-app operation history, log information, etc.). The Service does not perform cross-app/site tracking via ATT or the IDFA.
• Email address: collected only when you use the data-transfer (account recovery) feature, for verification and recovery. Not used for advertising or marketing.
• Diagnostics: technical diagnostic data such as crash logs and performance metrics (to identify problems and improve quality)

2. Purposes of Use

• Providing Service features (records, raising, collection, community, backup/restore, device transfer)
• Delivering and optimizing advertising
• Improving quality and fixing issues through statistical analysis
• Responding to inquiries
• Other purposes incidental to the above

3. Third-Party Services

The Service uses the following external services. Each provider's privacy policy applies to such use.

• Supabase (data storage and authentication)
• Google AdMob (ad delivery; advertising identifiers may be used)
• RevenueCat / App Store / Google Play (subscription management and payment)
• Apple Inc. / Google LLC (app distribution and billing platforms)

4. Advertising

The Service may display ads (including rewarded ads) via Google AdMob. The Service does not serve behavior-based personalized ads; only non-personalized ads are shown. We do not request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission and do not perform cross-app/site tracking using the IDFA (advertising identifier). For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK, and Switzerland, only "limited ads" (non-personalized ads that do not use device identifiers) are served, so no consent form is shown. Limited information such as device identifiers may be used for ad delivery purposes such as frequency capping and fraud prevention.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Service and related web pages may use cookies, advertising identifiers, SDKs, and similar technologies. You can restrict these via your device or browser settings, but doing so may affect some features of the Service.

6. Provision to Third Parties

Except as required by law, the Operator does not provide personal information to third parties without the prior consent of the individual, except in the following cases:

• With the individual's consent
• As required by law or by a court or governmental authority
• When necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property and consent is difficult to obtain
• When provided in a form that does not identify the individual, such as statistical data

7. International Transfer

Servers of external services used by the Service, such as Supabase, may be located outside Japan (e.g., in the United States). By using the Service, the user consents to personal information being transferred to and stored outside Japan.

8. Security Management

The Operator maintains the accuracy of personal information and takes appropriate security measures to prevent loss, destruction, alteration, or leakage.

9. Retention and Deletion

• Collected information is retained to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use.
• Users may request deletion of their data or account through in-app actions or by contacting the address below.
• If the Service is discontinued, the Operator will delete the user information it holds.

10. Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use, etc.

Users may request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, suspension of third-party provision, or notification of the purpose of use of their personal information. After verifying identity, the Operator will respond sincerely and promptly in accordance with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information. A reasonable fee may be charged for requests for disclosure and for notification of the purpose of use. Communication costs are borne by the user.

11. Rights of International Users (GDPR / CCPA, etc.)

Users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and elsewhere may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, and port their data. For California users, the Operator does not "sell" personal information for monetary consideration. To exercise these rights, please contact the address below.

12. Children's Personal Information

The Service is not intended for use by persons under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). If we learn that we have collected personal information from someone below these ages, we will promptly delete it.

13. Changes to this Policy

The Operator may revise this Policy as needed in light of operational conditions. The revised Policy takes effect when published on the Service or on this page.
